The Flame is basically known as a reference device that was created keeping the developer community in mind. Earlier, Mozilla had worked closely with T2Mobile, offering its developers a platform wherein they could test the prototype of a variety of Firefox OS devices.

The Flame comes with a 4.5” display with 854×480 pixel resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP rear and 2MP front camera, dual SIM support. The device offers a better 8GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot. It has battery capacity of 1800mAh and being a mid-ranger comes at a fair price of $170.

The Firefox OS smartphone could be available within four weeks for shipment for free anywhere in the world except for Japan.
